What will you hold onto when life feels uncertain?
In 2020, when the world stood still, I turned to poetry. Not because I had all the answers, but because I needed something to hold onto—something steady when everything else felt uncertain.
That’s how Life-Preservers was born.
Each poem in this collection started as a fragment—scattered words on a page, pieces of thought pulled from books, articles, and forgotten texts. But as I arranged them, I saw something bigger taking shape: a reflection of survival, resilience, and transformation.
The words were never really mine. They had always been there, waiting to be found.
And I believe the same is true for all of us.
We all have something that keeps us afloat—art, music, faith, love. Life-Preservers is about finding those anchors, those moments of clarity in the chaos. It’s a collection of poems, but more than that, it’s an invitation: to reflect, to rediscover, to hold onto something that matters.
In the next email, I’ll share what’s inside the book—what makes this collection unique, and why I think you’ll love it.
Until then, I’d love to hear from you. What’s your life preserver? Hit reply and let me know.
